Welcome to the award-winning Office of Communications at Harlandale ISD. We serve as the vital communication link between Harlandale ISD and the community, dedicated to promoting our students, staff and programs. Through news releases, photography, videos, social media and web content, our skilled staff disseminates information to local media outlets and ensures the district's stakeholders are well-informed.

As the primary point of contact for San Antonio's media outlets, we handle all media requests and coordinate district-wide special events, while generating original stories to showcase our district's achievements. Keeping a watchful eye on education-related legislation during Texas Legislature sessions, we monitor pending bills that may impact our educational community. Additionally, we work closely with the Harlandale ISD Education Foundation and our business partners to foster collaboration and support.

The Communications Office also plays a crucial role in managing and responding to open records requests in accordance with the Public Information Act.
